Named for the seed that weighed gold.
A qirat is a carob seed, so regular in weight that merchants used it to measure gold and gems. It gave the world the word carat. We use it as a promise: measure carefully, then decide.
A small firm, on purpose.
We are eighteen people across two offices. We turn down most of the homes we are offered, and we turn down clients when we are not the right fit. What is left is a list short enough that every advisor knows every home on it.
